Triangle Launches WebSSTTM Technical Data Base
(February 16, 2009) - Triangle Suspension Systems, Inc. is introducing a major new generation of its electronic technical data base. Created two decades ago as the "Spring & Suspension Technician," widely known as SST, a much enhanced WebSSTTM is being launched by Triangle at the 2009 HDAW in Orlando, Fla.
WebSSTTM will be available to customers through the Internet and is a comprehensive data base of spring, suspension and air spring information. One of its strengths will be an elaborate cross reference and spring attaching parts search function. Additional features and benefits will be introduced in the near future.
Triangle President John Howard said the new version of WebSSTTM reflects the company's commitment to modernization. "This is only one of many changes the organization is making as we focus on the future," he said. "A business management system is being installed and a new manufacturing facility will open later this year."
George Koerner, Vice President/General Manager of Distribution, noted that when SST was introduced more than 20 years ago it was state of the art in the industry. "Now, as we celebrate Triangle's 90th anniversary in 2009, it is appropriate that we introduce this major advancement in technology. We are excited about WebSSTTM and believe our customers will see the benefits immediately in their business."
Triangle would like to give special recognition and thanks to Keith Parris from Big Moe Spring & Alignment in Austell, Ga., for his contribution to the WebSSTTM System.
