Evolution of a Market Leader

Since 1919, the Triangle name has been synonymous with steel leaf springs. Originally located in the 'Golden Triangle' section of Pittsburgh, in 1927 Triangle's base of operations moved to DuBois, PA.

Early on, Triangle's market share increased through steady organic growth. However, a series of strategic acquisitions beginning in 1969 put Triangle firmly on the road to becoming North America's leader in undercarriage products for tractors, trucks, trailers and light duty vehicles.

  • 1969 - Acquired by The Marmon Group, Inc.
  • 1974 - Addition of Flagg Suspension Parts
  • 1982 - Opened Fontana, CA Distribution Center
  • 1988 - Opened Oklahoma City Distribution Center
  • 1991 - Addition of Triangle Air Spring Product Line
  • 2001 - ISO 9001:2000 Certification
  • 2002 - Became a member of Marmon Highway Technologies
  • 2006 - Opened the Short-run manufacturing plant in Punxsutawney, PA.
